About Us
Sovereign Grace Baptist Church was planted out of Banyo Baptist Church in February 2010. The church would be described as conservative in theology, reformed, baptistic, and contemporary in practice.
Our passion is impact the community around Banyo and also the greater area of Brisbane city. We pray that God would receive glory in the saving of souls and the growing of Christians.
Our mission is to preach and teach the Bible, so that in all things God may receive praise and that Christ would receive the honour He deserves.
Why Sovereign Grace?
Because:
- It is by God’s Sovereign Grace that we saved.
- It is by God’s Sovereign Grace that we live.
- It is by God’s Sovereign Grace that this church exists.
