4. Your Response

In order to be forgiven, the Bible says you must repent (turn from and forsake your sin) and trust that is only by the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ that you are saved. 

“…if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved”⁷…“for "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” ⁸

The Bible says, “Behold, now is the favorable time; behold, now is the day of salvation.”⁹

Now is your day of salvation, so the question for you now is, “Are you prepared to surrender your life to Jesus and trust in Him to forgive your sins?”
If so, pray something like this:

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins, then rose from the dead. I want to turn from my sins. I now ask you to have mercy on me and save me. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Saviour. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”
